HP Slate 21-k100 Pro Reviews

PC World‘s review Edit

This inexpensive machine is a worthwhile investment for laptop owners, even if the idea of running Android on a desktop PC eventually fizzles.

Would we like to see a refreshed Slate 21 with the hardware quibbles addressed? Sure. But we're not sure that it's worth HP's time and resources to produce that—at least until there's some hope of a solution to the twin problems of Android-app display and usability on a big, non-rotating desktop screen like the Slate's. Alas, we don't see anything on the horizon—barring a stealthy wave of even cheaper Slate 21 imitators—that might spur the software side to take on that thorny issue.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The HP Slate 21 is a promise that Android will work for desktop PC users as well as it does for tablet users, with a nice price. The system fails on both counts.
