Palit GeForce GTX 760 2GB JETSTREAM Pro Reviews

HEXUS‘s review Edit

The GeForce GTX 760 GPU is likely to be the last in the 7-series lineup for a while. Fitting between a GTX 660 Ti and GTX 670 in terms of default-clocked performance, the card really comes alive when overclocked by partners - especially if it GPU Boosts further still. Palit's JetStream is a good showcase of how competent a GTX 760 can be. It runs at about the same speed as a Radeon HD 7970 and is relatively cool and very quiet when going about its business. Any card, irrespective of GPU provenance, can be considered a good deal if priced attractively enough. Palit's version comes in at around £210 which, given the performance, represents a solid option when looking for a high-performance card that won't break the bank.

techPowerUp!‘s review Edit

Today, NVIDIA releases their GeForce GTX 760 using the same GK104 graphics processor we've seen on cards like the GTX 660 Ti, GTX 670, GTX 680, and GTX 770. Palit has overclocked both GPU and memory on their GTX 760 JetStream out of the box, which provides a nice 6% performance improvement over the reference design. The new card delivers not only an impressive 25% performance improvement over the GTX 660, but is also priced $55 higher. In the product stack, the GTX 760 will replace the GTX 660 Ti against which the Palit card provides 12% higher performance at $25 less. Compared to AMD's lineup, we see the card 14% faster than the Radeon HD 7950, and it almost matches the HD 7970 that comes at much higher pricing, though. Palit's new cooler uses a red shroud people will either love or hate. It's also a triple-slot cooler, which promises better thermal performance and noise levels, but neither seem to be present. I'm a bit disappointed. Noise levels are slightly better than the NVIDIA reference design cooler, but still too noisy. Other cards, like the MSI GTX 760 Gaming, do much better here. Temperatures are ok, but I would have expected better from a triple-slot cooler. Idle noise levels are great though, so this card will be a blessing for people who work a lot and game rarely.

Tom's Hardware‘s review Edit

The GeForce GTX 760 isn’t as sexy as the Titan, 780, or even 770 we reviewed most recently. Nvidia’s reference design is very GeForce GTX 670-like, and partners mostly seem to be introducing versions with axial fans that blow waste heat into your case (bummer). However, the card changes the balance of power at its $250 price point, besting more expensive AMD boards and even knocking older GeForce products out of the way. Although we’re dealing with a mature GPU and derived specifications, we’re led to the same conclusion we drew in The GeForce GTX 770 Review: Calling In A Hit On Radeon HD 7970?: GeForce GTX 760 is a card worth recommending, owing to the fact that it’s faster than pricier competition. Truly, this is the upper end of the spectrum for gaming on a 1920x1080 display, and it's more accessible than ever.
