GIGABYTE FLY Pro Reviews

techPowerUp!‘s review Edit

Gigabyte's first go at designing a pair of headphones is a pleasant surprise. The overall build quality is really good and has all the makings of a great pair of portable headphones; however, the basic sound quality is a bit of a letdown. The bold design actually works: These headphones are just as comfortable to wear as the RHA SA950is, even without a headband pad. They may even be a tick more comfortable because the pads and ear-cup hinges are of a better design! Gigabyte's focus on style definitely paid off, and these headphones do look the part. The sound quality is compromised due to the midrange being a bit tiny compared to the fuller, more natural-sounding competition, but the FLYs really fly when it comes to bass and ergonomics, which make them an OK choice if those aspects are important to you. Its headband is hard, which could be an issue if you have very little hair.
