iBUYPOWER Revolt R770 Pro Reviews

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The iBuypower Revolt R770 is a solid solution for gamers low on funding or space, serving up a reasonably priced small-form-factor gaming rig, though its limited expandability will turn off diehard enthusiasts.

The Revolt comes with Windows 8 and a 60-day trial of Microsoft Office. In a refreshing change, iBuypower does not load the system with bloatware. It has one of the cleanest Windows 8 Start screens we've seen. The good news continues with regard to the warranty. We were doubly impressed with the two-year warranty that comes with the Envy Phoenix; thus we are triply impressed with the three-year standard warranty that iBuypower bestows upon the Revolt. As nice as they are, of course, no bloatware and a long warranty play second fiddle to the Revolt's impressive component lineup and the small chassis into which iBuypower managed to fit it. We do, however, wish the case was easier to work inside. Granted, there is no room for expansion, but if you need to service a part or swap it out down the road for an upgraded component, getting to the motherboard is a chore.
