Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX60 Pro Reviews

PhotographyBLOG‘s review Edit

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX60 is a slim, sexy little camera designed to be used by the beautiful crowd in a club or on holiday. Or is it? You see, the Carl Zeiss lens will appeal to users more familiar with photographic manufacturers and the Exmor R sensor will bring a smile to the face of people who like to experiment with light. None of these people can be categorised into one convenient faction. It seems that the WX60 is a decent all-rounder. It does well in all fields, but excels in none. For example, the build quality is good, but it's not excellent; picture quality is great, but suffers in some areas; and the menu system is comprehensive, but not the easiest to use.

ephotozine‘s review Edit

The Sony Cybershot DSC-WX60 is an ideal camera if you want a little extra optical zoom than the average budget camera offers. We are impressed by the image quality, with good detail and excellent colour reproduction. True, you can pay less and get cameras with even more zoom, but it's unlikely you'll also get optical image stabilisation and 10 fps continuous shooting. We did find one or two small issues, such as the stitching of panoramas and the higher ISO settings don't produce particularly good images. If you have a little more budget and can spend over £100 on a camera, we certainly recommend you take a look at the Sony Cybershot DSC-WX60.
