Canon PIXMA iP7220 Pro Reviews

printercomparison‘s review Edit

The main concern when purchasing a photo printer should be whether it prints quality photos reliably. We believe the Canon PIXMA iP7220 does print quality photos reliably, especially at this price tag ($99.99). We found the photo prints to be detailed, crisp and we found the color to be brilliant. We compared the original digital image on our PC to a printout of that same digital image, and found it to be remarkably close to the original. A photo printout of a close-up of a dog in black in white was very detailed and precise; it just looked great overall. The printer did not jam up or misfeed during our tests, either. The second factor might be the price of ink. The Pixma iP7220 works on a five-ink system because its main function is printing photos. As of right now, the five required inks should run users around $63 a pop. We printed a good deal of photos, color text pages and black and white photos and text pages, and the inks didn't even dry out half-way. This shows that the inks should last consumers a very reasonable amount of time.
