Canon PIXMA MG5420 Pro Reviews

computershopper‘s review Edit

The Canon Pixma MG5420 is an excellent bargain, though it isn’t perfect. The speeds are somewhat slower than average when printing documents onto plain paper. The output tray capacity is skimpy at just 50 sheets. And there’s no Ethernet port, which may or may not matter to you. On the plus side, the Pixma MG5420 has a generous set of features for the price, including Wi-Fi connectivity and double-sided printing. It has excellent print quality across the board, and it's reasonably fast when printing photos. In addition, it’s set up well for 4x6-inch and 5x7-inch photo paper, which you can keep loaded in a separate tray. Bottom line: If photo printing is a big part of your output (and especially if CD/DVD printing would come in handy), you would be hard pressed to find another AIO at this price point with the same print quality and features. And seeing as this model was selling for as little as $99 at the time of this writing, it's a deal hard to pass up if you fit the user profile.
