VIZIO CA24T-A4 Pro Reviews

PC World‘s review Edit

In the end, the Vizio CA24T-A4 All-In-One PC is a good-looking and rather pricey disappointment. The design, sound, ports, and extras are top notch; the display, keyboard and performance are not. It's almost as if the CA24T-A4 were designed to be used from a distance on a couch, as you would use a TV, not sitting up close where you need to be for any serious sort of computing. Here's hoping Vizio corrects its mistakes next go-round. If it does, there are a lot of PC vendors that should be worried.

We've said it before, and we'll say it again: all-in-ones may be the hardware sleeper stars of Windows 8, with big displays and touch-screen capabilities that cast Microsoft's new operating system in the best light possible. Vizio's refresh of its all-in-one lineup transforms the series from an also-ran into a serious computing contender for folks who want a finger-friendly display. The sleek, silver aesthetic stuns despite the abundant use of plastic, creating a minimalistic appeal that would look right at home in an office, kitchen, or den. Thanks to the discrete subwoofer and bright, responsive touch screen, the CA24T-A4 oozes sensory satisfaction in spades. We also love the thoughtful touches Vizio packs in with the computer, such as the media remote and the Microsoft Signature software experience.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Vizio 24-inch All-in-One (CA24T-A4) is an attractive all-in-one desktop that is worth considering. Its ability to function as a television also makes it an especially solid choice for users who don't have a lot of physical space to spare.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

As with the 27-inch model, my overall impression of the CA24T-A4 is that Vizio has designed this system for maximum retail shelf appeal. It looks nice, and it has just enough features to make its price tag seem reasonable. Further scrutiny reveals the cracks in this approach if you're shopping on strength of features for the dollar. From Asus in particular, you can buy more computer for basically the same price.
