Fujitsu LIFEBOOK U772 Pro Reviews

NotebookReview‘s review Edit

The Fujitsu U772 has an elegant design, solid build quality, excellent overall performance and plenty of ports. I'm impressed by the business-friendly features such as the fingerprint reader and Intel vPro support. The U772's usability however is crippled by the horrid keyboard design and low quality display. The keyboard is legitimately difficult to use; there is just not enough key travel to provide meaningful tactile feedback (my Blackberry has more travel) and the space bar registers about 60% of the time. The screen resolution is not sufficient for productivity; 1366x768 is too little space to view two windows side-by-side. It's a more than frustrating setup. We won't be able to recommend the Fujitsu U772 unless the keyboard is redesigned and better screen options are offered; I could be convinced to forgive the latter if the price was dropped significantly. The keyboard however is a deal breaker.
