Epson Expression Photo XP-850 Pro Reviews

If you just read through this review, you've probably already come to the conclusion that the Expression Premium XP-800 and XP-850 are incredibly similar models. The main differences between the two are the print speeds (slower on the XP-850) and the ink cartridges (the XP-850 has six cartridges). While I did notice improved photo print quality overall, I'm not entirely convinced that it's worth paying $20 more up front and an additional $11-$17 on the sixth cartridge every replacement cycle for the Expression Photo XP-850 when the Expression Premium XP-800 did everything as well (if not better) for less. Having said that, the Expression Photo XP-850 is still a quality all-in-one inkjet that would work well in most home environments. It offers outstanding photo quality and a blend of excellent features including fax functionality, a built-in memory card reader and front side USB port, CD/DVD printing, built-in wireless and a duplexing 30-sheet ADF. Just don't forget that the Expression Premium XP-800 does all of that as well.

The Epson Expression Photo XP-850 Small-in-One inkjet MFP is a little weak on text and graphics quality, but what it lacks in output quality it makes up for with a long list of features.

The Epson Expression Photo XP-850 Small-in-One Printer is an inkjet printer that produces great-looking photos, and offers automatic duplex printing and scanning. Unfortunately we found washed-out colour graphics on plain paper and a clunky push-scan setup. It's definitely worth a look, however.
