The Brother MFC-8710dw is a reliable multifunction printer. It offers quick print speeds, good print quality, a fast warm up and I had zero paper jams during our tests. It also offers three other functional devices - scan, copy and fax - as well as a 50-sheet ADF, front side USB port and wireless connectivity. The energy use was higher when printing and the display and navigation are lacking when compared to some of its competitors, but with a lower initial cost of $399.99, the MFC-8710dw makes up for some of these flaws. The Brother MFC-8710dw would be a good addition to a small or medium sized business (think 5 to 12 users) that has no need for color printing but wants a reliable MFP with business centric features.
