EIZO ColorEdge CX240 Pro Reviews

ephotozine‘s review Edit

The ColorEdge CX240 sports all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a high-end display, including a hardware correction device and excellent colour performance, but without the £1000+ price tag you'd normally expect to fork out for such an offering. Overall colour performance, and the accuracy of black and white values, are more than good enough to satisfy even the most discerning graphic artists and photographers. The time saved by the built in colour correction device will surely pay for itself over time, as calibration can be maintained automatically, with no input from the user. A feature like this, at this price point is a boon for graphics studios, or for anyone whose time is as precious as colour accuracy is. Although £850 may seem like a lot of money for a monitor with a resolution and headline specification that doesn't seem all that different to displays available for a quarter of the price, it is still a sound investment, as the quality of the ColorEdge CX240 shines though, and is backed up by a comprehensive 5 year warranty.
