ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 Pro Reviews

hardwarebbq‘s review Edit

There are some people who use LAN networks for data transfer with NAS or their own local network. Either Sabertooth or V-Pro series should be considered to pair with Intel controllers. Similarly, non-native SATA controller manufacturers should work some way of provide some RAID settings if possible. One clear advantage however is the 5 year warranty period, which as of now I don’t think any brand can provide for their motherboards… yet! In comparison with the 990FX, you are getting SATA 6Gbps eSATA ports, 2 more USB 3.0 ports, ability to take screenshots and many. I’ve been told by one person (for now) that Asus has good number of models for their motherboards, that it times with the exception of certain features, its hard to choose between Sabertooth and the V-Pro series. There is an Gen2 version which provides PCIe 3.0 via a non-native chip between the first 2 slots.

overclockersclub‘s review Edit

As usual of late with ASUS motherboards, the con list is very short, as in nonexistent. I really cannot find anything to complain about. The deeper you dig into the Sabertooth 990FX R2.0, the harder it gets to find something you can't access, adjust, or upgrade to. Superior overclocking, efficient, versatile, and sub $200. Not a bad package at all.
