Canon PIXMA MG2220 Pro Reviews

computershopper‘s review Edit

For a $69 printer, the Pixma MG2220 prints well enough, even though it is slow. It's easy to set up and use, and the copy and scan functions—though mostly convenience features not really designed for people who scan and copy a lot documents—reproduce originals respectfully. Considering this model's sluggishness and high cost per page, though, it's best suited for homes that print very little. If you plan to use your printer a lot, another model, such as Kodak's ESP 3.2, will be a better choice. Still tempted by the price? The lack of wireless support is worth thinking about, as well as the inability to print double-sided. Bottom line: A couple of years ago, we would have sung the MG2220's praises for the price. Today, though, with several faster, more ink-efficient models available for just a little more money, we suggest you give some serious thought to how you'll use your printer before buying this Pixma. This one makes sense only if you don't print much.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The USB-connected Canon Pixma MG2220 Inkjet Photo All-in-One has a sparse feature set and won't win any speed records, but it sells at a bargain-basement price and its output quality is fine for basic home or school use.
