Samsung ML-3712DW Pro Reviews

computershopper‘s review Edit

Aside from the Eco feature we discussed above, the ML-3712DW has only one print mode. The only way we could boost the quality of the embedded graphics and photos in our business documents was by using different types of paper. For example, when we printed on everyday copier paper, photos came out a little too dark and slightly muddy, lacking good detail. When we switched to higher-end laser paper, images looked much better. As for print speed, overall, this model turned in the fastest print times we've seen from a laser printer at this price, but not by a lot—and, in some cases, a negligible amount. As mentioned, we haven't looked at many single-function lasers in this price range, so, for comparison's sake, we have pitted it against two comparably priced multifunction (print/copy/scan/fax) devices and one single-function machine. The multifunction lasers were Brother's $249.99 MFC-7460DN and HP's $349 LaserJet Pro 100. The single-function printer was Brother's $299.99 HL-3075CW.
