VIZIO Thin+Light CT15-A1 Pro Reviews

computershopper‘s review Edit

Considering it’s one of Vizio’s first laptops, the CT15-A1 gets a lot of things right, offering up a very good 1080p screen, fast solid-state storage, decent audio, and impressive aesthetics, all in a slim package. It also shares its 14-inch sibling's Microsoft Signature software preload, which eliminates bloatware and pop-ups in favor of a clean screen and lifetime Microsoft Security Essentials malware protection. Going on specs and looks alone, this system seems like a great choice, especially given that its price recently dropped from its initial $999 to a more appealing $799. But its battery life lags well behind competing machines, which will be a deal-breaker for some. And everyone should try the keyboard out in person before buying. It’s certainly better than tapping things out on the glass surface of a tablet, but if you plan on doing a lot of typing, the Vizio’s flat, shallow keys can be aggravating.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Vizio 15.6-inch Thin + Light (CT15-A1) has a gorgeous design and is a decent performer, but a few significant problems mar this ultrabook's debut.
