Outside of its streaming options and power consumption, the 55LM6700 leaves a lot to be desired. It offers a huge screen and a revolutionary remote control, all for a reasonable street price of $1650. However, the picture quality is disappointing, and the remote control can often be frustrating. The Magic Remote needs work. More importantly, so does the set's image quality.

When you take into account the LG 55LM6700’s screen size and all that it can do, the $2299 list price doesn’t seem off-putting. Especially since the “street” price is a good couple of hundred dollars less. And the slimness of the unit will astound you — even in these days where every panel alludes to being svelte. Those looking for a solid performer, with few issues when playing 3D, can get this LG with no buyer’s remorse.

Digital Trends‘s review Edit Like Unlike

LG has a big winner on its hands with the 55LM6700. Not only is the TV stunning to witness when turned off, it does its job extremely well, particularly considering the challenges that a nearly bezel-less screen design can present. While this set may be the lowest model of LG’s top-tier Cinema Screen TV series, we think it offers an absolutely stellar combination of beautiful form-factor, features and performance and, at just under $2,000 online, is a whale of a deal, to boot.
