Canon PIXMA MX372 Pro Reviews

printercomparison‘s review Edit

The Canon PIXMA MX372 definitely deserves consideration if you're in the market for an All-in-One inkjet with photo printing capabilities. It (nearly) does it all for a fraction of the cost. The photo printing is something to rave about and the text prints are professional grade; other OEMs might need to take a page out of Canon's book. The draft (or fast) print mode is just what you'd expect it to be - speedy. Still, it prints good quality pages while saving you quite a bit in ink costs. We were able to print 9 pages per minute under this mode, which is quick considering it's an inkjet. The software needs recognition, too. Included with every Canon inkjet AIO is a full suite of photo editing and reconstruction software, letting users do things like filter their photos and pictures with fun effects such as a blurry background, put together a photo album, and lay out an entire calendar with pictures of your choice that you've taken. Also included in the suite is an on-screen user manual, quick links to anything you'd ever need, and a diagnostic repair and help center.

Macworld‘s review Edit

The Canon Pixma MX372 is a nice, basic, low-priced MFP for light use. For only $20 more, however, you can get a multifunction device with considerably more features. Other $100 MFPs to consider are the Kodak Hero 3.1, with its wonderful photo prints, and the Epson Stylus NX430.

computershopper‘s review Edit

With the Pixma MX372, you get Canon's print and reproduction quality at a very low entry-level price. You also get all four basic AIO functions—print, scan, copy, and fax—and an ADF. Frankly, we haven't seen any other models that provide all these functions and perform them all in outstanding quality for under $80. The problem is that you save a few dollars on the front end, but wind up paying a lot to use this AIO over time. As we said about the Pixma MX512 and MX432 when we reviewed them, we'd feel a lot better about recommending this model if its CPPs were a little more reasonable. After all, this well-built little machine printed, copied, and scanned our test documents well—as well as or better than competing models. It's especially adept at reproducing photographs, which is important in some business settings.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

The MX372 will likely satisfy households where cost and features take precedence over output quality, but dedicated shooters and offices should seek out a more-capable machine to bring photos and presentations to a professional level.

With its low paper capacity and low initial price, the Canon Pixma MX372 Office All-in-One fits best as a personal printer in a home or small office with light-duty print needs.
