Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 Pro Reviews

ExtremeTech‘s review Edit

Still, the Core 2 Duo E6850 is a terrific all-around performer, especially when you factor in the sub-$300 price tag. The only potential monkey wrench in all this goodness is a little piece of silicon code-named Penryn. Intel's next generation, 45nm CPUs will be arriving on the scene in the next few months. But for the time being, the sweet spot in price performance looks to be the Core 2 Extreme E6850.

xbitlabs‘s review Edit

So, we think Core 2 Quad Q6600 seems to be a much more attractive offering these days than Core 2 Duo E6850. However, those computer users who do not want to mess with processor overclocking may think differently. In this case Core 2 Duo E6850 with 25% higher clock speed performs better in a lot of applications, including games. Moreover, it is also more economical.
