HIS 7750 iCooler 1GB Pro Reviews

HEXUS‘s review Edit

Quiet and cool as it is, the HIS Radeon HD 7750 iCooler 1GB card's stuck between and rock and a hard place. Snip the pricing down to £85 and it becomes instantly more desirable.

You'll need to position the R7750 properly inside you mind to acknowledge what it really is intended for. It will allow gaming at a budget level in the lower resolutions, but overall for desktop usage and HTPC usage, this card might be worth it's money quite well -- but we do feel that the prices will need to come down first -- if you can spot it at 80 to 90 USD, then we think it's a good deal.

benchmarkreviews‘s review Edit

The graphics performance of the HIS HD 7750 iCooler is good enough for playing most games at 1920x1080 resolution with lower settings but there are obviously some games that will struggle, then again this card isn't aimed at the high end price bracket. It does however deliver fair price to performance out of the box, and then some more when you overclock it. The HIS HD 7750 iCooler sits nicely between the GTX 550-Ti and GTS 450 but does so at a lower temperature and requiring much less power. The appearance rating of the HIS HD 7750 iCooler is up for debate. There is not a lot I can say about a discrete graphics card that will get installed and then be out of sight. When we consider looking up close at the PCB cleanliness and the soldering quality then it does deserve a high rating. There are some that will surely disagree but thanks to the graphic nature of this review you can easily make your mind up for yourself.

techPowerUp!‘s review Edit

Overall, the HD 7770 CrossFire emerges as a decent multi-GPU setup, offering good scaling, and fitting well with its competitive environment. The HD 7750 CrossFire, on the other hand, has quite a bit of work left getting the drivers to work well. We doubt AMD can toy with the price much.

techPowerUp!‘s review Edit

AMD's new Radeon HD 7750 is the lower cost version of the HD 7770. Naturally, lower price means lower performance, but the ratio is in favour of the HD 7750. Price/performance considered the card is a better deal than the Radeon HD 7770. In terms of absolute performance the card offers framerates similar to the last generation HD 5770/6770. Thanks to AMD's new 28 nm process and the advanced power consumption reduction features of the card we see the card claim the number one performance per Watt spot of all graphics cards we ever tested. It's really amazing: when compared to the NVIDIA GTX 480, the card is three times as power efficient. Even compared to less power hungry designs, like the whole AMD HD 5000 and 6000 Series, the card is still almost twice as efficient. With less than 50 Watts consumed during typical gaming the card does not need any additional power inputs. This makes it a good candidate to upgrade an older, weaker PC system.
