Lenovo H520s-47461DU Pro Reviews

computershopper‘s review Edit

Staying true to its no-frills nature, the Lenovo H520s software stays fairly lean and mean. On the plus side, bloatware is virtually non-existent, and the third-party software that is included adds definite value for the end user—though only questionable value for business users. (Perhaps tellingly, most of the H520s marketing pitch on the Lenovo Web site tends to lean towards families rather than companies.) CyberLink's PowerDVD and Power2Go, respectively, play and burn most media types you can throw at them. Lenovo Assistant consolidates several system and entertainment options from various locations in a single easy-to-use program, while Lenovo OneKey Recovery helps users restore system backups or wipe the slate clean and return to factory defaults. Finding Google Chrome preinstalled was a pleasant surprise, although finding additional toolbars installed in Internet Explorer was the distinct opposite. Other than that, you'll find the usual Microsoft Office 2010 Starter Kit and a free 60-day McAfee Antivirus Plus trial.
