HP ENVY 110 Pro Reviews

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

Like it’s predecessor, the Envy 100, this machine looks like a triumph of style over function. The powered touch panel and paper support may look space-age but slow down print, and the tiny, awkward-to-open paper tray makes simple maintenance both frequent and awkward.

Macworld‘s review Edit

HP intends the Envy 110 e-All-in-One to sit in a living room or private office as an objet d'art, seeing only occasional use and producing nice output upon request. For that purpose, it's an excellent product. If you have a budget in mind, however, this multifunction printer will break it quickly. The Canon Pixma MG6220 is just as cool-looking but not nearly as expensive to operate.

Despite all of these nice features, and a quite brilliant user interface that's easy to understand and never misses a beat, we can't help thinking that the HP ENVY 110 is style over substance; it only holds 80 sheets of paper and printing, while quiet, is slow and expensive with colour prints that underwhelm.

printercomparison‘s review Edit

The Envy 110 is a very interesting looking device, but a very average performing all-in-one. Average print speeds, average ink output, average print quality (except the black text prints), below average paper capacity and average software. The two things that save the Envy 110 from being a complete dud are the design which is unique to the printer world as well as the mobile and standalone printing options like ePrint and web connected applications. All of this makes it hard for me to recommend the Envy 110. It's not a bad printer, but I can't think of a market - consumer, SOHO or SMB - that the Envy 110 would find its niche in. Maybe the home professional that had minimal needs other than black and white text prints, basic copying and scanning AND wanted an ultra compact footprint with a great look?
