Palit GeForce GTX 560 Ti Twin Light Turbo Pro Reviews

techPowerUp!‘s review Edit

Palit's GTX 560 Ti Twin Light Turbo is a solid custom design GTX 560 Ti implementation from Palit. It doesn't come with many bells and whistles, except the LED-lit fan and the accessory package is slim, but the card performs very well. In our testing we see it edge past AMD's HD 6950 2 GB - thanks to the increased clocks out of the box. The out of the box overclock is relatively small with 835 MHz, however. In our overclocking tests we saw an easy 12% additional clock headroom, which is why a higher clock speed would have been nice for the card. Other board manufacturers go up to 950 MHz, which gives their cards a slightly bigger performance boost. In terms of power consumption, the Palit GTX 560 Ti Twin Light Turbo is right where other GTX 560 Ti cards are. Fan noise is significantly reduced, even though the fan uses two fans whereas other cards use only one. Palit's engineers did a great job optimizing noise to a great balance between low temperatures and low noise. As a low noise gamer you should definitely consider the Palit Twin Light Turbo. Price-wise the card is reasonably priced when compared to other GTX 560 Ti variants, an extra game bundle would be nice though. Although this is a brilliant product, it's advisable that you wait for the performance results, prices, and power consumption figures of the upcoming 448 core version of the GTX 560 Ti before committing yourself to this card.
