Canon PIXMA MG2120 Pro Reviews

PC World‘s review Edit

On the surface, it’s a nice bargain for home users who print infrequently, but the pricey black ink and all-too-brief 90-day warranty make it a meager long-term deal.

If price is your main consideration in buying an AIO, they don't come much cheaper than the Pixma MG2130. It's a classic get-what-you-pay-for proposition, however. Unfortunately, this model doesn't deliver the eye-popping photo prints that we've come to expect from Pixma inkjets—and that's the main reason for buying a Pixma. Considering what you give up for saving $30 over the Brother's MFC-J430w (and a few other $99 models), unless you do very little printing, copying, and scanning, we have reservations recommending this Pixma. It lacks automatic duplexing, an ADF, and Wi-Fi, and it has a high cost per page. In sum, this model is designed for home users who don't use their AIOs enough to justify spending much to own one. By this criteria—a very low price—the Pixma MG2120 satisfies that need. We just wish it printed the stellar photographs we expect from an AIO with the Pixma logo on its lid.
