Canon PIXMA MG4120 Pro Reviews

printercomparison‘s review Edit

The Pixma MG4120 offers three functional devices, improved black print speeds, a sleek new design with an ajustable LCD, wireless connectivity and new software features. The Pixma MG4120 would be a great fit for a family on a budget or for a student who needs an affordable, compact AIO option. The big issues I had with the MG4120 were the same we've seen from other Pixmas; the color document "processing" pause that allows for the color images to dry and a budget friendly two ink cartridge system that can't quite match the color vibrancy of a photo printer that offers multiple individual color cartridges. The Canon PIXMA MG4120 should be considered for those in need of a all-in-one printer with a variety of high end features in a compact footprint for less than $150.

Macworld‘s review Edit

If you’re looking for alternatives with lower black-ink costs, both the HP Photosmart 6510 e-All-in-One ($150) and the $130 Brother MFC-J625DW are worth considering. However, the Pixma MG4120 is otherwise every bit as competent, and it’s decently inexpensive for mixed-color pages and photos.

computershopper‘s review Edit

The Canon Pixma MG4120 is a dependable entry-level printer that produces good-quality documents and passable photos, but, as you can see from our tests above, it's not going to break any speed records. However, several Pixma models, including the $149.99 Pixma MG5320, produce better-looking photos significantly faster, and with lower per-page operational costs. In the past, we have enthusiastically recommended Pixma printers, especially if you're in the market for a good photo-centric printer. In this case, though, small- and home-office users should look to other Pixma models that are faster, better-performing, and less expensive to use.
