LG IPS235V Pro Reviews

Digital Trends‘s review Edit

LG’s IPS235 carries the cachet of true-to-life IPS color without the cash outlay of spendier competitors. While it’s not the brightest monitor in this price range, its broad color spectrum and surprisingly sound out-of-the-box calibration make it a good fit for anyone concerned with viewing images as they’re supposed to appear. The rather dull bezel and stand can be overlooked for the price tag, though we do wish the IPS235 did a better job displaying near-black.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The LG IPS235V is a reasonably priced 23-inch IPS monitor offering solid color and dark grayscale imagery and great viewing angles all around. It has a limited feature set though, and has trouble displaying the lightest shades of gray.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

For $230 it's difficult for a monitor to completely screw up. As monitors go, that's a pretty low price. Luckliy, the IPS235V goes beyond "not completely screwing up" and actually delivers impressive performance with enough useful OSD features to be the best budget monitors currently available.

With an IPS panel and wealth of colour options for the ultimate in colour calibration, the IPS235V has deep colours, good viewing angles and contrast, and is great value.
