To answer my earlier question, the Samsung CLP-775nd did live up to the previous generation CLP-770nd. The CLP-775 does everything well: good quality prints, standard duplexing, built-in networking, a large standard paper capacity and a functional Web server. Plus, Samsung throws in faster, more reliable print speeds, a 600 MHz dual core processor, a larger standard memory capacity and new software for a low initial cost (about $150 less than the CLP-770nd at its release). I'd still like to see a front side USB port for printing, especially since its becoming a more standard business feature. It was also strange that Samsung got rid of their draft mode option. But when it comes down to it, Samsung has included plenty of features for a small or medium business to succeed with the CLP-775nd. And for businesses looking for additional features can sort through several add-ons including increased paper capacity, memory, wireless card, etc.

computershopper‘s review Edit

In terms of speed, Samsung's CLP-775ND is a workhorse that delivers—and if you need it to be even faster for huge, complex print jobs, its memory is expandable. The print quality is exceptional, even on photographs, which many competing models struggle with. Best of all, it delivers all this brute strength while maintaining a sensible cost per page. Replacing toner cartridges won't play havoc with your printing budget. The Samsung CLP-775ND's speed and affordable toner pair nicely with this printer's high duty cycle and expandable paper trays. Granted, not all small-to-medium-size offices and workgroups need to print thousands of pages per month. But for those that do, the CLP-775ND should live up to the task and continue providing value well into the future.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Samsung CLP-775ND is a fast colour laser that is economical both initially and over time. Larger, busier workgroups may gravitate toward faster and pricier models such as the Lexmark c734dn, but the CLP-775ND should satisfy a wide swath of more mainstream offices.
