Panasonic DMP-BD60K Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

Viera Cast and an SDHC slot make the DMP-BD60 stand out, but its slow performance and high price mean it misses out on an award.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Panasonic DMP-BD60 adds YouTube and Picasa Web Albums to its list of online multimedia abilities, but it's otherwise a clone of its predecessor.

AVForums‘s review Edit

As a result of all of this, my end word on the DMP-BD60 is plain and predictable: it works as you'd expect to and it's a fine choice if you need a BD player to connect to a digital AV system.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The BD60 is yet another solid piece of Blu-ray hardware from Panasonic, and this hacked version could be a worthwhile investment for avid disc importers.

Home Theater‘s review Edit

Although I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Viera Cast options, there’s no denying that for $300, Panasonic delivers a Blu-ray player that’s hard to beat. The video performance is better than most higher-priced players I’ve tested, and the feature set gives you the most from your Blu-ray and DVD collection.

The Panasonic DMP-BD60K costs a little more than other players, but its superb image quality and intelligent design justify its price.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

Panasonic continues its great work in the Blu-ray field with yet another feature-packed player that offers sensational picture performance and a user-friendly operating system. Viera Cast proves to be an attractive addition to an already impressive list of talents, and while the limited choice of YouTube and Picasa won't appeal to everyone, we think there's a lot of fun to be had watching video clips on your living room TV.

The Panasonic DMP-BD60 offers excellent image quality and reliable Blu-ray playback, but it doesn't have as many features as the competition.
