Garmin Dakota 20 Pro Reviews

letsgomobile‘s review Edit

For our trip to South Africa, the Garmin Dakota 20 was a fine travel companion. It is too bad that we did not have a map set available, but this caused our attention to be focused on the bare device. Even in the standard version there are enough applications. The Garmin Dakota GPS receiver device was taken on all trips and that was easy to execute. The dimensions never made it a burden. I would even dare to say that it is a very useful tool for the active tourist. And that was even when it was not equipped with a map with the corresponding POI.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The Garmin Dakota 20 provides most of the key features of the Oregon 550t for two thirds of the price. If you want the facility to use Ordnance Survey maps electronically in a device costing less than £200, the Dakota delivers on its promise. However, the smaller screen and slower map performance do put it behind the Oregon range, so for those with a bigger budget the Oregon is still our preferred outdoor option.
