A month ago Motorola unveiled its Android 4.0 upgrade plans without mentioning two of its devices – Motoluxe and Motorola Pro+, the second one being a pretty solid choice for BlackBerry converts who can’t live without a physical QWERTY keyboard.

Motorola Pro+ lands on Bell, shows Canadians an Android BlackBerry

The latest iteration of Motorola’s BlackBerry clone, the Pro+, has just landed in Canada by way of Bell Mobility.
Besides the familiar keyboard, the Motorola Pro+ packs 4 GB of local storage, a 1 GHz processor with 512 MB of RAM, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, and a 3.1-inch 640 x 480 touchscreen. Connectivity includes 14.4 Mbps HSPA, which Bell would like you to think is 4G, as well as Wi-Fi b/g/n with mobile hotspot capabilities, and Bluetooth 2.1 with enhanced data rate.
As a BlackBerry guy, I can see the appeal of a phone like this. There aren’t many Android handsets out there rocking a portrait-oriented physical keyboard, and the ones that do still don’t hold a candle to RIM. Whi...

Motorola Pro+ 4G rides into Canada November 7th, will kick off shoes and stay a while

We knew it was planning to grace Europe and Asia with its presence this month, but now we're hearing the Motorola Pro+ 4G is ready to make its North American debut at Bell Canada. We're not seeing any large differences here compared to the overseas model, though the addition of "4G" to the title is an obvious exception. The device offers a 1GHz CPU, 512MB of RAM, Android 2.3, a 5MP camera, 3.1-inch VGA (640 x 480) display with Gorilla Glass, HSPA 14.4 (hence the "4G" name) and a lot of Enterprise-friendly security features. We know it'll be hitting shelves on November 7th, but no price has been announced so far. To find out the full shebang, head south for the press release.

Motorola Pro+ announced - Just a slightly beefier Droid Pro?

Motorola Pro+ announced - Just a slightly beefier Droid Pro?

Verizon was first to get it, and Sprint just did but now AT&T will soon have its own version of Motorola’s wannabe BlackBerry phone. The Droid Pro or Xprt aren’t the worst phone’s we’ve seen but both are lacking in the spec department. Luckily for AT&T, the Motorola Pro+ has seen a couple of spec-bumps.
The Pro+ really isn’t anything special. It ships with more memory (4GB vs 2GB), Android 2.3 Gingerbread instead of Android 2.2 Froyo, and Gorilla Glass now adorns the face of the display but that hardly sounds like much of an upgrade if you ask me. From the looks of it, the battery has actually shrunk from 1860 mAh to 1600 mAh, which is just another reason to start scratching your head. T-Mob...
