ASRock CoreHT 252B Pro Reviews

TechSpot‘s review Edit

Overall, the CoreHT is in somewhat of an odd position. We think its CPU is overkill for an HTPC, while its GPU is too weak to peddle it as a casual living room gaming box. It's more of a space-saving, power-conscious general purpose desktop computer. Those looking to perform tasks such as video encoding and editing as well as image editing will like what the CoreHT has to offer. For strict HTPC usage, we think the CoreHT is a step back from the Vision 3D.

overclockersclub‘s review Edit

On performance, features, and overall coolness, it's a great little thing and I would recommend it on that alone. Unfortunately, no matter what price the CoreHT-252B ends up selling for here or anywhere, more will have to be put into it for an OS. Recommended? Maybe.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The CoreHT appeals to almost every one of our senses because it's a good-looking, do-everything box, so having one in our lounge would be awesome. But it's just not essential enough to justify the price. So five stars from the heart, but our head can think of many alternative set-ups for the same amount of money.
