Sprint has officially announced that the BlackBerry Curve 9350 will be hitting their network on October 2 and can be had for the affordable price of $79.99 with a new two-year activation or qualified upgrade.
The BlackBerry Curve 9350 is the latest release from RIM to run on OS 7. It’ll join the BlackBerry Bold 9930 and the BlackBerry Torch 9850 in Sprint’s smartphone stable. The Curve 9350 is considered the entry-level BlackBerry but it boasts some decent specifications.

Just yesterday, one of our tipsters managed to pass along a little bit of sad news regarding the Sprint BlackBerry Curve 9350. However, today we’re getting the official confirmation that the handset is indeed being delayed.
Announcing the news on their support forums for the BlackBerry Curve 9350, Sprint mentions that the handset isn’t going to be arriving as previously scheduled for today; September 9. Rather, it seems that they’re blaming its delay on “unexpected circumstances” that will now see its release date be pushed back to an October time frame. Unfortunately, no concrete date was given this time around for its eventual release.

Sprint on Tuesday announced the upcoming launch of RIM’s brand new BlackBerry Curve 9350 smartphone.
