With a street price hovering in the mid-$400s as of this writing the Tamron 17-35mm f/2.8-4 SP represents an excellent bargain for sub-frame shooters. Wide open it'll be a little soft in the corners, but just one stop down, it turns into a real jewel of a lens at a very affordable price.
