Altec Lansing Orbit USB Stereo Pro Reviews

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

Smaller and more convenient USB-powered speakers are out there at the same price, but few match the sound quality offered by the Altec Lansing Orbit USB Stereo pair. They won’t turn your laptop into something to rival a home stereo, but for watching movies on holiday, on business trips or in your room – having been ousted from the lounge – this is a great-value solution that improves hugely on the quality of built-in laptop speakers.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Altec Lansing Orbit USB Stereo iML247 is very affordable and very portable, but its sound is what you would expect from a $50 speaker system, with poor bass response and distortion at high volumes.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

While the sound quality of the Altec Lansing Orbit Stereo speakers isn't likely to blow you away, the travel-friendly and affordable USB speakers do sound significantly better than the internal audio found on most laptops.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

At just £33, Altec Lansing's Orbit USB Stereo speakers are great value for money. They're compact enough to stash in your suitcase (though maybe a little large for your laptop bag) and have a lively, detailed sound. The bass is understated, but perhaps this is inevitable given their size.
