ASUS P8P67 PRO (REV 3.1) Pro Reviews

pcstats‘s review Edit

The ASUS P8P67 Pro motherboard is a good platform to build a nice gaming or run-of-the-mill computer system with. Regardless of the new advances in chipsets since the emergence of the Intel P67 chipset, it has to be said that the P67 still offers a lot of value. Considering that value, a board like the P8P67 Pro proves itself to be an economical way of assembling an Intel LGA1155 PC that competes with Intel Z68 platforms in the benchmarks. The reason is simple, both chipsets are essentially the same core logic.

Today the ASUS P8P67 Pro (Rev 3.1) is selling at Newegg for $169.99, and Amazon for $179.99 with Free Shipping. While this is not a super-inexpensive board, it really is not set up to be. It has a very solid feature set, a deep and easy to use UEFI BIOS for enthusiasts, and as you see is no slouch when it comes to overclocking. Keep in mind the ASUS P8P67 Pro is still sporting digital power controls as well. This board does come with ASUS AI Suite 2 so all overclocking can be done right inside Windows should you wish to skip the BIOS. At the current prices, the ASUS P8P67 Pro is a very good buy.
