AMD FirePro V7900 Pro Reviews

HotHardware‘s review Edit

Considered a high end model, the V7900 checks in at $999. In comparison, the V7800 was $799 at launch and can currently be found online for about $629. But as our testing shows, the new FirePro model is justifiably more expensive than its predecessor and offers significantly more performance.

Besides the FirePro V7900 being a big performance upgrade over the FirePro V7800, this new professional workstation graphics card also has to its advantage four DisplayPort 1.2 connectors, Stereo 3D, PCI Express 2.1, AMD PowerTune, GeometryBoost technology, and other new and enhanced features.

www.pcper.com‘s review Edit

The FirePro V7900 and V5900 launch from AMD based on the Cayman GPU is a successful one that breathes a bit of life into a somewhat stagnant market that hasn't seen change in about a year. The FirePro V7900 takes over the spot in the market the V7800 held while adding new features and better performance.
