Sapphire Ultimate HD 6670 Pro Reviews

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

There is one feather in the HD 6670's cap, though, and that involves its happy partnership with the new desktop AMD Llano platform in Hybrid CrossFire mode. Youget little benefit from pairing the Llano APUs up with anything further up the graphics food chain, but the HD 6670 is the sweet spot in performance terms. With the graphics part of the Llano APU working alongside the HD 6670 you get proper gaming performance, jumping up to over the 30fps mark on modern DX11 games such as DiRT 3.

A good card for if you're building a decent-sized media or quiet PC where the cooler can get some decent airflow around it - and it does offer three monitor support at a bargain price.

HEXUS‘s review Edit

Set to retail for a £10 premium over an actively-cooled model that's otherwise identical with respect to technical specifications, the £85 Ultimate provides enough oomph for gaming at a full-HD resolution, albeit with medium-quality settings, while AMD's UVD 3.0 video-processing comes in handy when turning attention to multimedia tasks.

overclockersclub‘s review Edit

When it comes down to the HD6670 Ultimate's performance, it was able to hang in with the HD6670, as it should due to the fact that they are the same card. However, these two cards were at the bottom end of the charts in every single graphics performance test performed. Looking at the temperatures that these cards were able to yield, the HD6770 was one of the two coolest running cards at both stock and overclocked load testing, with the HD6670 Ultimate was the hottest running graphics cards tested. I was expecting the HD6670 Ultimate to be the hottest card due to the fact that it does not have any active cooling solution installed on the card to ensure that the card would run silent, which would make it a great solution for someone who is looking to build an HTPC that does not need a low profile card. No matter what you are looking for in a graphics card, Sapphire has a solution for you with the release of the HD6770, HD6750 and HD6670 Ultimate.
