DrayTek Vigor2830 Pro Reviews

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

There are many options to wade through, especially when configuring the security settings, so it might take some time to get the most out of the 2830. It’s a very specialised router, highly recommended for business users, or anyone who needs to keep a large network safe and secure.

If you want a lot of business class router for a very competitive price and don't mind incomplete and confusing documentation and emailing support resources many time zones away, then Draytek should be on your VPN router short list.

PC Pro‘s review Edit

Lacks antivirus or anti-spam, but it’s a low-cost security router with excellent web access controls and wireless features.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

Performance is good, although not quite as good as some cheaper routers. Our 1GB test file took two minutes 40 seconds to transfer between PCs at two metres, and six minutes 40 seconds at the 10-metre test point. It might be feature-rich, but the average person isn't going to see the benefit, and there are better and faster options for the money.
