Hitachi iPJ-AW250N Pro Reviews

projectorreviews‘s review Edit

The bottom line on the Hitachi iPJ-AW250N is that it is definitely an interactive projector with an incredible amount of features. It can achieve a very large image from just a foot or two from the screen. Its native resolution of 1280x800 makes it more compatible with wide screen users. Its light output was bright enough for just about any environment you could present in. Image quality was an area of concern since the image did not seem to keep its sharpness uniformally across the whole image. This might have been just a particular issue with the unit that was being evaluated, but it was definitely noticeable.

ProjectorCentral‘s review Edit

Although the iPJ-AW250N loses some points for not being suitable for interactive table-top applications, that's not an issue if you're sure you'll never want to use it that way. On the other hand, its small size makes it uniquely appropriate among interactive ultra short throw projectors for portable use, even with the need for calibration. Beyond that, its balance of brightness, connectivity, and image quality for both data and video make it a more than an attractive choice, whether you need the small size or not.
