ASUS P6X58-E WS Pro Reviews

overclockersclub‘s review Edit

The Q-Connectors and diagnostic module make getting the motherboard running a breeze! The included accessories are complete and should be enough to get the system running well. The CPU socket area is spacious and overclocking the board is a breeze! Enthusiasts and those just looking for a reliable workstation should give this motherboard a close look.

The ASUS P6X58-E WS is a stellar work horse board for the enthusiast that needs to do double duty with a work station. The ASUS P6X58-E WS still overclocks and games like a champ and has more PCIe lanes than you will likely ever need, but if you do need those, and you know who you are, those PCIe lanes are there for the taking. One nitpick that we have is that ASUS should have made this board using the EATX size specification so the PCIe slots could have been given a bit more space for those wanting to run huge CrossFireX and SLI configurations. With everything but the kitchen sink, and a good sound solution (but let's face it you have enough slot to put a high end sound card on the board), at $300 the ASUS P6X58-E WS ATX Intel Motherboard is a hell of a buy if you can put all its horsepower to use.
