The Sony Pocket is the best all-rounder, it has an unintuitive menu and a small screen. Both the Pocket and the Cool-er primarily use the ePub format, so your eLibrary will probably be transferable to future eBook readers.

The Sony Reader PRS 300 Pocket Edition's build is solid, the battery life is long and the design is up to Sony's usual high standards. The Sony Reader PRS 300 Pocket Edition is a great example of an e-book reader designed for pure reading pleasure.

The button lay-out on the side of this Sony Pocket Reader, I find less comfortable compared to its bigger brother, the Sony Reader Touch Edition, at which the operation takes place on the screen itself. However, the screen of the Sony Reader Pocket is more comfortable to read, because it is less shiny since this Reader does not require a touch coating.
