Gigabyte's entry is the cheapest of the pack at only $239.99 before a $20 mail-in rebate—and it comes with a coupon for DiRT 3. Despite its low price, this card performed almost as well as the MSI model overall out of the box, as its position in the scatter plot illustrates. Overclocking and cooling performance were identical, too, and the Gigabyte card's cooler was easier to tune out on our open test bench. (Our decibel meter did pick up a slightly higher reading from it, but we're talking about such a small delta that the subjective pitch of the noise was more important.) With its only real downsides being a rather long circuit board and slightly higher idle power consumption than the competition, the Gigabyte GV-R695OC-1GD is deserving of our Editor's Choice award.
