GIGABYTE GV-N560SO-1GI Pro Reviews

HEXUS‘s review Edit

Ultimately, we applaud Gigabyte for really pushing the GeForce GTX 560 Ti GPU to the limits, made possible by the use of a custom PCB and dual-fan cooler. Priced at around £225 we can recommend it to folk who can't quite stretch to either a GeForce GTX 570 or Radeon HD 6970 and require a genuinely viable option to the presently-available Radeon HD 6950 2GB.

HardwareZone‘s review Edit

The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti Super Overclock is yet another exemplary card from Gigabyte’s Super Overclock line-up of cards. Clocked at a staggering 1GHz at the core and 4580MHz DDR at the memory, the card is a good 15% or more faster than a bone stock GeForce GTX 560 Ti and as our results show, is capable of even challenging the GeForce GTX 570 in some cases. Unfortunately, its blazing performance has come at price because its operating temperatures and power draw figures were substantially higher than the competition. Also, at US$269, it is more costly. However, if outright performance is your foremost concern and you are willing to pay the premium in the form of its retail price and also thermal and power characteristics, this is the card for you.

motherboards‘s review Edit

GIGABYTE has done something that was unheard of in the history of NVIDIA video cards with the GeForce GTX 560 Ti SuperOverclock, bring a 1GHz video card based upon an NVIDIA chip. The card is faster than any other GTX 560 I’ve tested to date and is in fact faster than a GeForce GTX 570 or HD 6970 in some cases. The SOC is faster than the 6950 2GB video cards, making this card problematic for that card as it retails on Newegg for $269.99, a mere $10 more than AMD’s HD 6950 1GB card. GIGABYTE has done a great job with the cooling, with temperatures staying within reference levels even at this higher overclock. This card gets and deserves an Editor’s Choice due to these factors.
