Sapphire FleX HD 6870 Pro Reviews

computershopper‘s review Edit

For those looking to connect three DVI monitors via one video card, this card is a smart choice, though you’ll have to dial back some settings to game on multiple screens.

The original HD5770 FleX was good. The latest card to carry the FleX name is even better, thanks to the updated architecture of the HD6870. It performs well, you can set up a three-screen Eyefinity system without a DisplayPort monitor anywhere in sight - and oh... it's very, very quiet.

When I first looked at the HD 5770 FleX I was impressed that Sapphire had taken the time to acknowledge one of the biggest issues with Eyefinity and fix it. The issue we speak of is the need to have a DisplayPort monitor to make use of the technology. For some it's not an issue, especially if you're only on one monitor and you're going to buy three new ones for your setup.
