Samsung ML-1865W Pro Reviews

ITreviews‘s review Edit

Samsung's ML-1865 is a very affordable laser printer that's been unashamedly assembled to hit as low a price as possible. The lack of WiFi convenience may put some off, as will the flimsy feel of its build - but we'd urge you not to write off this well-judged laser printer. A frankly superb performance, both in terms of speed and text print quality makes this a top choice for lone workers. At this price, it's a toss-up between a quick-fire laser printer by your side, and a noisy WiFi inkjet model on the other side of the room. Samsung's ML-1865 is compelling argument in favour of keeping things close at hand.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

The 1865 is obviously a very basic printer but it goes about its job well, being fast, offering excellent quality text prints and a useful little add-on in the One-Touch printing feature. If a basic yet usable monochrome laserjet is all you need, this is a compact and stylish way of going about it, but we do think it’s a little on the pricey side.

A decent, small laser printer, though it's more expensive to run than others

A compact, stylish printer that's simple to use and easy to live with, but high print costs mean we can only recommend it for light use.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Samsung ML-1865W’s size makes it extremely cute, and its compact dimensions will prove genuinely useful for those wishing to save desk space. That it also offers Wi-Fi connectivity and decent performance, while costing less than £100, makes it a very good prospect. We’d prefer to see lower running costs of around 2.5p, but in most respects the ML-1865W ranks as an excellent buy.

If you're looking for an inexpensive mono laser printer for general home or small office work, it's hard to fault Samsung's ML-1865W. This modestly sized machine prints fast, with very little initial wait, produces excellent prints and doesn't cost much to run. With an easy to set up wireless link, it epitomises what most people are looking for in a budget laser printer.

PC Pro‘s review Edit

Samsung’s ML-1865W is a disarmingly small printer. By cutting down on frivolities, all that’s left is a stylish product that’s heavy on design and light on dimensions. In fact, it’s one of the smallest mono lasers we’ve seen.
