The Acer Iconia Tab A100 is now starting to ship to US retailers, including ExcaliberPC and SuperBiiz for $329 and $334, respectively. The seven-inch tablet sports Android 3.2 and 8GB of storage space. It is powered by NVIDIA's dual-core Tegra 250 1GHz CPU and has 1GB of RAM onboard.
The capacitive touchscreen has a resolution of 1024x600 and there is both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth onboard, along with a front-facing two-megapixel and a rear five-megapixel camera. Connections include a micro HDMI output, USB 2.0 and micro USB 2.0, along with a microSDHC reader. A two-cell battery is said to last a modest five hours.
