Panasonic TH-85VX200 Pro Reviews

www.whathifi.com‘s review Edit

All the Panasonic’s strengths shine through with material such as this. Its rich colour palette comes to the fore, and those pleasing detail levels combine with strong black rendition to really enhance the action. In the short time that 3D screens have been around, there’s been a notable improvement in performance – long may it continue. If you’re into home cinema, a projector will serve you better, and cost far less. But if you’re in that specific situation of needing a massive screen in a brightly lit room, this Panasonic pretty much has the market all to itself.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

Shorn of the usual price-based limitations associated with making plasma TVs for the mass consumer marketplace, Panasonic has produced a true AV masterpiece in the 85VX200. Clearly its crazy price means that precious few people will be able to seriously think about buying one, and will turn to the much cheaper big-screen route of a front projection system instead.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

It isn't about the money. With the TH-85VX200, though: for anyone who can even dream of owning one, it's all about the sheer, unadulterated size and status of the thing.

AVForums‘s review Edit

Panasonic’s Professional TH-85VX200 represents the current state of the art in plasma technology but as with all things at the ‘bleeding edge’ it comes with a price tag to match. Still you get what you pay for in this life and the VX200 offers size, performance and build quality that no other current display can come close to. It offers a reference greyscale and colour performance coupled with excellent video processing. It also has one of the best native contrast ratios on the market and the deepest blacks I’ve seen since the Kuro. In fact the general lack of PWM noise and the corresponding fine detail resolution are actually an improvement on the Kuro.
