Qnap TS-412 Pro Reviews

PC Pro‘s review Edit

Qnap’s four-bay NAS doesn’t major on performance, but good design, hot-swappable drive bays and a generous range of features bolster its appeal

If your heart is set on a four-bay QNAP but your budget is tight, the TS-412 can save you almost $100 vs. the TS-419P+, the current high-end of QNAP's "Home and SOHO" line.

The QNAP TS-412 makes a very good NAS server for environments where advanced network storage is needed.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

As you can see, there's a lot to the QNAP TS-412 TurboNAS (even more than we've mentioned in our review, so check out the specs page). It's a versatile device with lots of built-in functions and more can be added via plug-ins; it has good hardware credentials as well. It can take a long time to set up and some of its features could be better implemented, but overall it's a worthy product for any home or small-business user who wants a manageable and fault-tolerant network storage device (as long as you use a fault tolerant RAID array). If you want simpler solutions, the two-bay TS-212 and single-bay TS-112 are also available.
