A new report coming out of Japan has raised a few eyebrows in regards to Sony's latest attempt to recapture the gaming spotlight. According to new figures, after just one week of strong sales, demand for the device has plummeted in Japan, usually one of its strongest markets.
The new numbers come via Japanese research site Media Create Co., which claims Sony only sold 72,479 units during the week ending Dec. 25, a steep drop off from the device's debut sales of approximately 324,859 units.
