Jawbone ERA Pro Reviews

MobileBurn‘s review Edit

Overall, I'd say this is a very impressive headset that has shown a great performance over the weekend, but that doesn't mean it is for everyone. I, myself, happen to be a music lover, and my main source of music is on my iPhone. I've been exclusively devoted to my Apple headphones for a long time now, using the mic for phone calls. For making calls, everyone on the other end of the conversation said that the Jawbone ERA was a huge upgrade from my headphones.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

If you've been eyeing the Jawbone family of products for a while, and you expect to conduct your phone calls in a variety of environments where background noise will be a factor, check out the Era. But, depending on where you buy, expect to fork out the best part of £100.

The Jawbone Era is a feature rich Bluetooth headset, but with that comes a hefty price tag of $129.99. I love the fact that you can update it with a variety of apps, change the voice and that perhaps some days Jawbone will enhance the functionality of the accelerometer. But it’s important to note that despite all this tech wizardry Jawbone hasn’t lost sight of its core objective, which is too build one of the best Bluetooth headsets on the market today with a great battery life, feature set and excellent noise cancellation.

Macworld‘s review Edit

With the Era, Aliph/Jawbone seems to have focused on several important areas: audio quality, hardware design, and ease of use. The Era excels at all three, and dramatically improves upon its predecessor’s primary weakness. You can still buy that model, the Icon, for $30 less than the Era, but I wouldn’t. The Era’s innovative tap gestures, stylish looks, and terrific audio quality make it a pleasure to recommend.

The Aliph Jawbone Era is more than a headset: it's a potential audio computing platform. It is the best Bluetooth headset available today, and its powers will grow.

SlashGear‘s review Edit

It’s tough not to be impressed by the Jawbone ERA: the HD audio and effective noise-reduction technology take care of the core functionality, around which the solid build quality, innovative use of an accelerometer, and comfortable fit add up to an all-round winner. Jawbone definitely seems to be listening to feedback, and given the upgradable nature of the ERA we’re hopeful the MyTALK platform will mean future software modifications aren’t solely preserved for new headsets.
